It was a short week this week with advisement day. I had my demonstration today for the class and it went well. I find it easier and easier to get up in front of a class and present material and do lessons. Pre-student teaching this semester is helping out a lot with that.
This will be a short post because of the short week.
I do have mixed feelings about the video project we will be starting. It looks like a lot of fun and also a lot of stress and time that I don't have to spare involved. I am concerned with the story boards as I am no artist at all, and last time I did a video project, I ended up failing the storyboard part because my artistry skills were not up to par. Luckily I will be aloud to use still images for this part. As of right now I will probably make a recruitment video for my sorority.

Week Five
Week five went by in a blur but many things in 366 did stick. There was an awesome demonstration with Adobe Flash. Honestly I had never even heard of Adobe Flash, so that made me think that I should probably poke around on my computer and figure out what other software is on my computer that I don't know about. I realize that it is so important to really get the most out of the software applications that I have access to now, because when placed in a school I could really do my students a disservice by not knowing a variety of applications.

Week Four
Week Four.
I really enjoyed the Visual Literacy lecture this week. I thought it gave a really great message that both teachers and students could benefit from. This was one of those lessons that I can see myself implementing into an advertising class room or even a global marketing classroom as well. As teachers it is important to bounce ideas off of each other. This is a prime example of borrowing curriculum.

Week Three
Already the end of week three. Things are starting to get more organized in my website and now that we have the feed back from the first two Units for the concept demos, I have a more clear understanding of what is exactly expected of me.
Also the first set of the concept demos took place this week. I think it is important for teachers to observe how others teach and engage with students. This is a great exercise for that. Not only do we get to observe but also we can enhance our software skills as well.
I think this would also be a great learning tool for students. Students teaching students concepts that they find relevent for them and the rest of the class.
